IWDA Summer Picnic!

August 6th 2011

We will be having our annual summer picnic at the Wayne and Ranee Johnson's farm at Farley, Iowa. Everyone is invited to attend and bring a friend or better yet a legislator to the picnic. The plan for the day:

Arrival - any time after 10:30 a.m. Lunch - Noon Membership meeting - 1 p.m. Come and go as you wish in the afternoon.

Activities:

Photo contest: Buck category and other category
Deer man contest - this will test your shooting and scoring abilities
Antler toss - be ready!

We look forward to seeing you at the picnic. Bring plenty of pictures of your deer and take the time to visit with other deer farmers. Thank You to Wayne and Ranee for hosting this event!

From Hwy 20
Take Exit 300 at Farley and go South out of town on Pleasant Grove Rd about 4.7 miles to you come to Hartbeck Rd. turn Right it will turn into a gravel road. You will go .8 miles then come to a Y you need to stay to the right and that will be Karper Harbor Rd. you will go 1.6 miles and our house will be on the right.

From Hwy 151
Take exit 77 at Cascade and turn North to go out of town and turn left on Y13(Farley Rd). you will go 3.0 miles on the Hwy when you will come to a Y in the road stay to your right that will be Karper Harbor Rd. At the stop sign you will go straight for 1.7 miles and our house will be on the Left hand side.
